These eight new paintings continue my exploration of presence, perception and the subtle spaces between inner and outer experience.

Untitled #1
Working on raw Belgian linen, I build each painting slowly through layered acrylic washes and earth pigments. The process is intuitive and repetitive rather than predetermined, with forms emerging, receding and shifting through successive layers. I’m interested in allowing the work to develop through attention to material, gesture and surface rather than arriving with a fixed image in mind.
Untitled #8
Across the series, dark tonal fields hold traces of movement, structure and partially revealed forms. Some works feel more contained and architectural, while others are softer and more fluid. Together, they explore the threshold between what is visible and what is sensed, inviting a slower kind of looking where meaning is allowed to unfold over time.
The series comprises six larger works, each 97 × 115 cm, made with acrylic and raw earth pigments on linen, alongside two smaller works, each 50 × 40 cm, made with acrylic, raw earth pigments and charcoal on linen.
